Memphis Area Library Council offers two types of annual membership:
- Institutional membership for Memphis area libraries
- Personal membership for interested individuals
Annual Dues
Dues for personal members are $15.
Dues for institutional members are based on institutional operating budgets as follows:

| Up to $50,000 | $35 | 1 |
| $50,001 – $250,000 | $50 | 2 |
| $250,000 – $400,000 | $70 | 2 |
| $400,001 – $750,000 | $90 | 3 |
| $750,001 and above | $110 | 3 |
